Synopsis & Dialog

Two fugitives tear across the desert, gunfire chasing them into a storm.

By night, they crouch behind a dune, sand whipping past their faces.

Dawn. Shimmering heat. The two men get to their feet, shaking off the sand. They look up...

“Is that real?” Sam asks.

We cut to their POV: three pyramids made out of cans of Liquid Death stand before them.

Frank: “We hallucinating?”

Sam: “Looks like some kind of awesome recycling site.”

They spot a crate nearby and head over to investigate.

They pry open the crate - it's full of cans of Liquid Death.

Sam: “We are definitely seeing things, brother.”

Frank: “All we need now is some ice.”

They laugh

Moments later we see them seated on a palette cracking open a can each. As Frank drinks, water trickles from bullet holes in his torso (to slapstick effect).

Sam: “You get shot back there?”

Frank: “I think maybe I did.”

We see them return to the crate. Sam picks up some cans and says: "Only so many of these we can carry."

They turn— a saddled horse is walking up to them. He stands there, looking at them both.

Frank: "Halleluja!"

They both laugh.

Cut to end scene, wide, as Sam on the hore, pulls along a makeshift travois, carrying Frank and the crate of Liquid Death.

Sam: “How ya doing back there?”

Frank: “Doing pretty good, all things considered.”

The horse drags them toward the sunset, pyramids fading in the distance, the crate rattling like buried treasure finally found.

Packshot: Liquid Death. VO: “Murder Your Thirst.”
